Like predicted Solid Investment scammed away with lots of money. Its really a shame that so many people are feeding those obvious scams with their hard earned cash. I feel very sorry for all people who have lost money in this ponzi. Hopefully you sticked to the rule and didnt invest more than you could afford to lose!
Now what is for sure is that the exact same scammers will be back with other scams. Well, actually they probably run many scams right now. What is pretty obvious is that Solid Invest, Vasco Investment, Tinger Invest and ASC Fin were all run by the same scammers. I also remember Jungle Ventures, which likely was also founded by them.

What do we learn from it?

Maybe it might be smart to do a better due dilligence the next time. There are many ways to do DD but they really dont help that much. What is best is surf the HYIP forums and see what HYIP experienced people have to say about a certain program. My favourite HYIP forum is HYIP Discussion.

Wayback machine - Tells you how a certain website looked years ago
Neo Trace - Software that can show you the IP locations of the servers of websites; Run a google search to find the software;

News in the HYIP industry. As I mentioned in my blog, I gave Solid Investment only a couple more weeks until they scam away. Now time has almost arrived and most likely Solid Investment will not survive july. Their new "special plan" which was supposed to take 60 working days are definitely over. It was actually already over in june but they sent out an email to their investors saying that they can only payout at the beginning of a month, due to the large amount of investments! Of course this is plain BS, giving those scammers one more month of collecting other people´s money. I will keep you updated on the SI scam.
